Teaching Pastor
Dr. Bruce Baker
Pastor Bruce and his family will be moving to Livingston the first week of July to begin his ministry as Teaching Pastor. Bruce has served as pastor in churches in Texas, Arkansas and New Mexico for over 28 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from East Texas Baptist University, as well as a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Penny and they have 3 children; Christopher, Stephanie, and Gregory. Bruce brings with him a passion for reaching people.

Pastor Emeritus
Orval Barger
Orval has been in ministry for 57 years. In that time, He has planted 4 new churches and pastored FBC for 16 years. After retiring in 1994, he served FBC for 2 years as Director of Education and 1 year as interim pastor, served 12 other churches as interim pastor, and worked part-time for the BMA of Texas as District Coordinator until February 2009. FBC elected him as Pastor Emeritus upon his retirement. He fully supports his pastor and staff.

Pastor of Worship/Administration
Kevan Wood
Kevan is known as the old guy on staff. He has had the privilege of serving the Lord in this place since February 1979. He and his wife Mary Beth have been married for 33 years. They have 3 children and 4 wonderful grandsons (Eli, Gauge, Cylas & Roper). He always has pictures of the grandkids. If you want to see some cute kids just ask. Kevan has a passion to help this congregation reach this area for Christ and to help each of us become Worshippers of Him with our whole being. "First is a place that has allowed me to grow, find my purpose and is helping me become what God created me to be," says Kevan. Kevan leads the Celebrative Worship at 9:00AM using Praise Team and Choir.

Pastor of Education/Outreach
David Goddard
David joined the staff of First in June 2008. He comes with 20+ years of ministry experience. His roles will include further development of Adult Bible Study Groups (Sunday School and Home Groups). He will help the First Family further reach the Lake Livingston area for Christ. David has a vision of being a part of this team to make an impact for Christ. He loves to see ways to improve the ministry to enhance peoples' connection to Christ.

Interim Minister of Worship
Billy Wiginton
Billy leads the Alternative Worship service @ 10:30 AM on Sundays. He is passionate about seeing people live lifestyles of worship that naturally overflow into a service setting. Billy was a part of FBC's student ministry during his Jr. High and High School years. "I am privileged to serve the congregation that I have been involved in since my youth," adds Billy. "Also, I'm blessed to work with and learn from the amazing staff here." Billy is married to Tasha and they have a charming 3-year old daughter named Chandler.

Minister to Senior Adults
David Butters
David returns to the staff of First Livingston as the volunteer Minister to Senior Adults. He spent 7 years as the Minister to Senior Adults and Business Manager of First Baptist. He moved to Dallas to go to school. He and his wife Becky moved back to Livingston in February 2008. He is the Director for Pace Funeral Home in Livingston. David has a heart of compassion for Senior Adults and a desire to see them grow in their walk with Christ and to help them develop opportunities to minister to this community.

Director of Children's Ministries
Kayla Pitts
Kayla has served as a volunteer in the Children's Ministries of First for the past 8 years. She joins the staff to help develop an agressive ministry to reach children and their families. She has a love for children and desire to partner with parents to help children grow in their faith and become followers of Christ.

Secretarial Staff
Terry, Tasha, & Sharon
Terry Arnold is the Secretary of Education/Financial here at First Baptist. She is married to Charles and they have two grown children. Terry has been a member of First Baptist since 1981 and has been a secretary for First Baptist since 1997.
Tasha Wiginton is the Secretary of Worship/Publication. Tasha has been married to her husband, Billy, for 5 years and they have a beautiful 3 year old daughter. Tasha is the newest secretary on staff.
Sharon Cain is the Secretary of Reception/Administration. She is married to Lloyd and has two beautiful daughters. Sharon has been a member since 1989 and has been a secretary here since 2006.
