Many parents ask, "What can I do to encourage my child's spiritual development?"

• Lovingly talk to your child about God and Jesus as you go through daily activities.
• Pray with your child daily.
• Begin reading age-appropriate Bibles and Christian books to your child.
• Allow even your youngest children to have and carry their own Bible.
• Begin building trust and security for your child by meeting his/her needs in a prompt and loving way.
• Use nature items and talk about the things God made.
• Be consistent in attendance at church; make coming to church a priority and habit for your family.
• Reinforce at home the lesson your child is taught at church.
• Let your child see you worship.
